Paths, so many ways Roads, twisting and intertwining Freeways, long and fast And Junctions, confusing and loud.
Maps tell us where to go, To the pharmacy or the toy store, To the park or to the train station They lead us.
We are lost without maps. Are we on the right track? But to tell the truth, a map won’t lead you. You have to forge your own way.
For hundreds of years we have crafted maps, Of underground lakes and labyrinths, But, there is no map that can help you Find yourself.
Maps can give you direction But it’s up to you to go there, Up to you to find your spirit,
So, go.
Find.
Search.
But maps are the foundation to all of this, So, take a moment to thank the maps, And sometimes, just look to the sky and say, “Oh, thank god for maps!”
